2010: WE THE PEOPLE

As I sit here tonight pondering the fact that our deficit nears 13 Trillion, I wonder where we Americans are today?  What has the US government accomplished with this money?  With All this debt?  

To hear our politicians tell the story, they have saved us!   Let me ask some strange questions.   I know this may sound, well, too rational.   Will someone please tell me, please explain to me  WHO we saved?  Who did our elected leaders save?   How many US citizens are really unemployed?   Did the electorate get  the citizens in the working column,  are they employed?

Did the electorate put people back in the homes they lost?  The jobs they lost?  The cars they lost?   The businesses they lost?  

Who did  they save?   What will it really cost?   Who will pay for it?  When?  

R E F O R M!     A word that has been thrown around to explain what our government claims it is doing to answer the causes of the problems that led to economic disaster.    Really?    Who answered for the deeds?  Where are the reports that say this agency failed to do its job and we need to eliminate an agency that failed.  The committee in Congress that watches over our economy, where were they?   Who failed to see or act?   Have they confessed?  

The idea that another Commission or a new Agency will fix, stop, or repair the flaws of our economy when we already had agencies that were supposed to do this, yet no one says where were they and why did they not see this coming?    So let’s add another layer of  government.    It’s like I burned dinner but peeled off some of the burnt parts and said this works, ” Let’s eat!”

No, here’s a great idea.   Let’s spend more money we do not have.   Money, you know will fix everything!   Let us give more power to  the Federal Reserve.

Why does the Federal Reserve get any vote of confidence?   What  is it that they have stopped?   Who are they going to be accountable to?   We have never even audited these people.   They self audit and report.   Let me try that!   They actually spent money without authority, then they have refused to tell us who received money that is now DEBT!    So this is supposed to be an answer to a National Economic Disaster!  

How about we get more answers than questions before we make any decisions that will affect generations of American citizens.     Or better yet, here’s a crazy idea.    If you make money, you pay taxes and get profit.   If you buy a house, you make a house payment.   If you lose money in your business you lose your business.   If you do not pay your house payment you lose your home.   The US government just makes certain that ALL transactions are handled fairly.   Fair interest rates.   No ARMS!!!   NO 40 year loans.   Nothing that is NOT fair. 

UNTIL THE DAY FAIRNESS IS RESTORED TO OUR BELOVED COUNTRY, I BELIEVE OUR ONLY HOPE IS THE PEOPLE.   WE THE PEOPLE MUST FIGHT TOGETHER TO RESTORE FAIRNESS.  WE THE PEOPLE MUST WORK TIRELESSLY UNTIL TERM LIMITS FOR EVERY MAJOR OFF ICE THAT HAS AN ELECTED OFFICIAL HAS A TERM LIMIT.  UNTIL THEN, WE WILL SEE PROMISES, EXCUSES, AND BAD MOUTHING.   UNTIL WE THE PEOPLE IN MASS CLAIM OUR BIRTHRIGHT AND LIMIT POWER, NOTHING WILL CHANGE!

DEMO DOUBLE TALK HEALTH CARE BILL VOTE

Help me, someone please tell me why anyone believes this is rational math.   The Congressional Budget Office estimated that the updated package would cost $940 billion over the next decade without adding to the deficit.

The CBO originally estimated  a mere $875 billion price tag attached to the original Senate bill — but it’s under $1 trillion!   After all, if it is under a TRILLION dollars, it must be free!!!!

When the ESTIMATE  from the CBO stated there would be a savings of $138 billion over the first 10 years, giddy democrats in the HOUSE and SENATE actually want us to be overjoyed with this news.  See how much we are saving?   

The fabulous news never ends, it is estimated to expand health insurance coverage to 32 million more Americans — or 1 million more people than the original Senate bill.

Excuse me, every teenage girl in AMerica uses this arithmetic.    “Mom, your insurance will cost less if you buy me a brand new car instead of a used one.”    So let’s all jump on board, we ONLY need to spend $875 BILLION dollars to save $138 BILLION.   Is this not what got us in this mess of a debt in the first place?  

What MUST I sacrifice as an American citizen to receive Health care?    Never mind the process????  I thought The Constitution and The Bill of Rights established process to ensure our Democracy.  So sacrifice the Democracy for Health Care?   Are you MAD??????

Before you tell me a sob story, I do NOT have health care insurance.  I have been denied because of my weight.   I have dieted for several years with little success.  I am not willing to sacrifice my children’s freedom or future to insure that I am part of Heath Care Reform.  The process s sacred and is designed to treat us all equally and fairly. 

The process is more important than anything else!!!!!     This process was sworn as an oath to protect and defend by every generation including this particular Congress and President.   To say it does NOT matter, means you have broken YOUR oath and should be impeached!!!  To put it in popular layman’s terms, we need to call Donald Trump to deliver the news, “YOU ARE FIRED!!”     Apparently we need “CONGRESSIONAL APPRENTICE”, someone call “The Donald”.

For every American who ever dared to dream that America is the place where freedom lives, breathes and grows. This date is for you! If you believe America’s best years are in front of her, not behind her! If you have faith in Americans! If you dare dream of a better America, then this date is for you. Where? At the foot of the Lincoln monument. Why? We all know that America needs new ideas, new voices, and new dreams. Crisis is a time which can bring renewal. We are the optimists, the dreamers, the artists, the workers, the taxpayers, and the caregivers. We can be the protectors of our children’s future. We can use the rights our veterans, our founders, and fellow Americans have strived to attain since our very inception. We are free, we want to remain free. We love our country! We find faith in freedom of choice. So let’s join together on August 28, 2010 in Washington DC at the feet of Abraham Lincoln.

ARE AMERICANS FREE?

First, let’s define what it means to be free. 

Here’s my definition:  I do not cross over into any person’s boundary unless invited.  No one crosses over into my boundaries unless invited.  I agree to pay fair and just taxes and I agree to obey the rule of law.  The rule of law is equal to all.  Taxes are fair and equal to all.  My representatives give fair and equal representation to all.  If I am asked to follow everything to the letter and at 100% compliance, then it is fair to ask others, including government to do the same.

In the NEW order, it seems that everyone wants to tell me what car to drive, what food to eat, what a fair share of taxes are for ME, how much energy I may consume, and how much I may weigh.  According to these people, if we all follow their rules.  We would drive one person vehicles, breathe every other day, eat no meat, sugar, or salt, make the mark on a weight chart, gladly pay 50% or more in taxes, and do as told. 

Although I am exaggerating, it is not far from the truth!  Accordingly, we would still be Free, but someone would regulate that freedom.  Regulation of freedom by the STATE is NOT freedom.  Freedom comes from the INDIVIDUALISM, and is carefully spelled out in the US Constitution and the Declaration of Independence from government CONTROL!!!!! 

It amazes me that I am the one called, “CRAZY!”  Having independent thought or opinion is now labeled, “CRAZY!!!”

Who is crazy?  Those that listen?  Those that regulate? Or those who question with reason?  I think NOT the latter.  I declare my FIRST RIGHT as an American, that of freedom of speech (and thought).  If you agree, then stand with the TEA DRINKERS!!!!

I think we should have a parade!  A parade of black caskets.  A casket for the National debt, The Federal Reserve, the US Constitution, the News Media, Taxes and the IRS, Congress, States Rights, Public (RE) Education, Health Care, Cap and Trade, and Personal Choice.    Oh and let’s not forget Public Prayer and any mention of GOD!  Our very foundation is being attacked.

It is time for a funeral, so we can ALL mourn!
